Faisal bin Abdul Aziz bin Abdul Rahman bin Faisal bin Turki Al Saud, King of Saudi Arabia and the third son of the sons of King Abdul Aziz, the males of his wife Princess Tarfa Bint Abdullah bin Abdul Latif Al-Sheikh. He took power on November 2, 1964, after his brother, King Saud, resigned from his multiple illnesses. His reign witnessed many events, most notably his cutting off oil from the United States and all pro-Israel and pro-Israel countries, as well as his refusal to establish a Jewish homeland in Palestine. On Tuesday, March 12, 1975,  Prince Faisal bin Mus'ad bin Abdul Aziz al-Saud fired at him and received Kuwaiti Oil Minister Abdulmutallab al-Kazemi in a library in the Royal Court.
