Ras Mohammed area Ras Mohammed is an Egyptian nature reserve in South Sinai specifically 12 km from Sharm El Sheikh. The Gulf of Aqaba is adjacent to the east and adjacent to the Gulf of Suez to the west. The Nature Reserve was established in 1983. Diving and swimming are popular activities in Ras Mohammed. The reserve is located at the confluence of the Gulf of Suez and the Gulf of Aqaba. The eastern edge of the Ras Mohammed sanctuary is a rocky wall with the waters of the Gulf, where there are coral reefs. Ras Mohammed is characterized by coral reefs located in the depths of Ras Mohammed's waterfront, colorful fish, endangered sea turtles and aquatic life.
