Moncler is a luxury Italian fashion brand mostly known for its ski wear. The company was founded in 1952 by Rene Ramillon and André Vincent, the brand was bought by Italian businessman Remo Ruffini in 2003, diverting the course of the company that was on the verge of bankruptcy, and its listing on the Milan Stock Exchange in 2013. In December (December) 2020, the company has bought a 100% stake in Italian sportswear brand Stone Island in a €1.15 billion acquisition.
