Education Day
Egypt's Flag Day is celebrated on August 17, 1944. In 1958, Gamal Abdel Nasser changed the date of the festival to December 21, the date of the opening of Cairo University in 1908. He became a respected scholar, author and artist. Taha Hussein (1958) ), Abbas al-Akkad (1959) and Tawfiq al-Hakim (1960).
