These two geese are a part of a colored stucco ledge showing six geese each three looking at different directions in the same line. It is considered the ultimate work in stucco, it is 1.62 m long and 24 cm high, It was painted on the tomb of the vizier Nefemaat and his wife lady Itet at meidum and dates back to the early fourth dynasty, around 2600 BC. Now it is displayed at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo.
