Amin Othman, Egyptian Minister of Finance in the delegation's government (February 4, 1942 - October 8, 1944) and the chairman of the Egyptian-British Friendship Society, was assassinated by the secret society of former Egyptian President Anwar Sadat when he was an army officer during King Farouk's reign.
