Dar Al Uloom College, was previously called "School of Science". Founded in 1872, Dar Al Uloom developed into a high school and remained until it became part of Cairo University in 1946. It became known as the Dar Al Uloom College, retaining its cherished historical name. The word "science", which includes the name of the college, means Arabic and Islamic sciences
