This mosque is located at the intersection of the current Port Said Street   Al-Azhar  Street established by   Zain El Din Yahya in 848 AH / 1444 AD

The entrance to the mosque overlooks Port Said Street and leads to small terraces whose ceiling is finely etched with gilded prints leading to a road that leads to a bowl that covers a roof with a marble center

Surrounded by four awnings opposite carved wooden ceilings with beautiful gilded decorations below the bazaars written verses Koranic gilded and hanging from each corner of these bishop's wooden trusses end with balconies upside down  

The inscriptions in the roof of the saucer or the roofs of the Iwan in this mosque are among the most beautiful inscriptions we see in the Mamluk mosques The mihrab is surrounded by a complex of wood in the form of geometric shapes

The mosque has an oriental destination ending on the sea side with the entrance to the mosque, which is covered by a keratinized shell and its chest is decorated with marble inscriptions and written on the side of a Qur'anic verse that ends at the date of construction in 848 AH
