Givenchy is the French luxury brand (Haute Couture), for the manufacture of clothing, accessories, perfumes and cosmetics. The House of Givenchy was founded in 1952 by designer Hubert de Givenchy, who is a member of the Council of the Syndicate of Haute Couture and Ready-to-Wear, and is headquartered in Paris. It belongs to the luxury group LVMH. From May 2, 2017, to April 10, 2020, its Artistic Director was Claire Waight Keller, the first woman to hold the position. On 15 June 2020, Givenchy announced that Matthew M. Williams, will succeed Clare Waight Keeler as Creative Director of the House.
