Zaluta Waluta or Zalata is an old silver Turkish coin minted for the first time during the reign of Sultan Suleiman II ( 1099 AD /1102AH ) following the pattern of the Polish coin called Waluta so the Ottomans gave it the same name .This Ottoman coin was used in Egypt and the Egyptian dubbed it saldi it was equal to 30 Para . In 1119 AH orders came from Constantinople that the Egyptians should mint Waluta but the princes in Egypt abstained from complying with that order Waluta is very rare compared to the rest of the the values
