Uncirculated (UNC)

In this degree the coin has the original luster and no erosion or wear and no signs of circulation on the surface up to a magnification of 30 X

About Uncirculated / Almost Uncriculated ( AU)

All details of the coin are clear and visible no evidence of erosion or wear at the highest point on the surface of the coin . Loss of some of the original luster is expected .

 

Extremely fine (XF) or (EF)

The coin still has 95% of of the design details on the surface are clear and visible in the case of the small area design this area decides the valuation 90% of the design details in that area must be clear and visible . 

Very Fine (VF)

75% of the design details should be clear and visible small weaknesses at the corners of the letters are allowed . In the case of the small design coins 65% of the details should be clear and visible . 

Fine (F)

50% of the details should be clear and visible moderate erosion and wear and the edges of the letters are weak and not sharp .  In this degree the coin appears dirty . As for the small design coin little less than 50% of the details should be clear and visible .

Very Good

Only 25% of the details clear and visible and the surface is severely eroded and worn . 

Good

In this case the outer rim is visible with few points of smudging but the rest of the design is weak and only the major details are apparent .

About Good

In this case only  a shadow of the original design is apparent the rim is eroded and intermingled with the letters if present .
